In short: choose a series for the look you like (non-reflective or reflective) and the heat rejection you need, keep the windshield light and pick the side and rear shade for the privacy you want, compare TSER rather than darkness, and have it installed by an official dealer with a warranty card.
Why tint your car
- A cooler cabin. Less infrared heat gets in, so the air conditioning cools the car faster.
- Protection for skin and eyes. UV light burns skin and tires the eyes.
- A longer-lasting interior. The dashboard and seats fade and crack less.
- Less glare from the sun and other cars’ headlights.
- Privacy and safety. Belongings are less visible, and the film holds broken glass together.
1. Choose the right series
Films differ in how they stop heat and in how they look: some are non-reflective, others are reflective and look mirror-like from outside. See the full comparison in types of window film.
Miracle Window Film comes in four series:
- Miracle Black: Sleek black, essential protection. A non-reflective black film for privacy and a clean look. Cuts glare and heat for everyday comfort, at the most accessible price.
- Miracle Silver: Reflective, more heat rejected. A reflective silver film: mirror-like from outside for privacy, with higher infrared and total heat rejection than Miracle Black.
- Miracle HR: Black film, better heat rejection. A black film with improved heat rejection for a more comfortable cabin. Rejects up to 99% of UV in every shade.
- Miracle LR: Black colour, high heat rejection. A black film with high heat rejection for a cooler cabin or room. Rejects up to 99% of UV in every shade.
2. Choose the shade
Every series comes in several shades (20, 40, 60, 80): the higher the number, the darker. For the windshield, choose a light to medium shade so the view stays clear, especially at night and in the rain. Darker shades are chosen for the sides and rear for privacy. Recommendations per window and the VLT of every shade are in window tint shades. Try the tint simulator to see how each shade looks.
3. Read the specs, not just the darkness
Darker is not necessarily cooler. Compare TSER (total solar energy rejected), IRR (infrared rejection) and UV rejection. The range of each Miracle series:
| Series | Finish | VLT | UVR | IRR | TSER |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Miracle Black | Non-reflective black | 4–63% | 4–89% | 10% | 19–38% |
| Miracle Silver | Reflective silver | 10–45% | 73–93% | 17–64% | 28–67% |
| Miracle HR | Black, high heat rejection | 15–25% | 99% | 40–70% | 47–68% |
| Miracle LR | Black. High heat rejection. | 5–23% | 99% | 40–70% | 47–68% |
The figures for every shade are on each series page and on the products page. Every term is explained in the window film glossary.
4. Prices
The price of Miracle window film depends on the series, the car size and the package (front window only, or a full set of all windows). Miracle is professional window film at our most accessible price point.
Ask for the latest price for your car on WhatsApp or see the price page. Prices may differ between dealers.
5. Choose an installer and make sure it is genuine
The result depends heavily on the installation. Poor fitting leaves dust, bubbles and peeling edges, and imitation film is sold cheaply.
- Have it installed by an official Miracle dealer.
- Ask for the official warranty card after installation.
- Check your warranty online with the card number on the warranty page.
6. Installation
Car window film is fitted on the inside of the glass. The installer cleans the glass, cuts the film to shape and shapes it with heat (shrink to fit) so the windshield and rear window can be done in one piece, without seams. One car usually takes a few hours.
7. Aftercare
Keep the windows up and do not clean the inside until the adhesive has dried; keep the windows up for 3 days. Haze or small bubbles at first are normal. Clean with water, a mild soap and microfibre, never ammonia. See window film care.

Frequently asked questions
How long does car window tinting take?
Usually a few hours per car, depending on the car size, the number of windows and whether old film has to be removed first. Ask the dealer for an estimate when you book.
Is window film fitted on the inside or outside of the glass?
On the inside, where it is protected from rain, dust, car washes and wipers.
How can I make sure the film is genuine?
Have it installed by an official dealer and ask for the official warranty card. For Miracle, you can check the warranty online with the card number. Be wary of prices far below the official price.
Can I install window film myself?
No. Window film must be installed by professionals so the result is neat and lasts. Use an official Miracle dealer to get the official warranty card (up to 3 years, depending on the series).
Can window film be fitted to an electric car?
Yes. Window film reduces heat in the cabin, which takes load off the air conditioning. If the car has sensors, cameras or antennas on the glass, tell the installer so those areas are handled with care.
